Open your connectors
In Claude: Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
Paste the address
Name it OperGo, paste the address, and add it.
Sign in once
Press Connect — your browser opens on OperGo. The same account you use in the app.
Ask
Switch OperGo on under the tools menu in any chat, and ask.

Hand it 200 parts and a reference you already ordered; material, finish and tolerances copy across and one RFQ covers the lot.

Questions about connecting an assistant
Do I need an OperGo account?
Yes — the same one you use in the app. The connection signs in as you, so it inherits your account, your roles and the NDA that account has signed. There is nothing separate to register.
Which assistants can I connect?
Any that takes a remote server: Claude on the web, in the desktop app and in Claude Code; ChatGPT and Codex; Cursor, VS Code and Gemini CLI. If yours speaks the Model Context Protocol, it speaks to OperGo.
Public server or local CLI — which should I use?
The public server, unless you have a reason not to: nothing to install, and it is the only route for a web assistant. The CLI is for clients that only run local servers, for scripts, and for teams that want the login token in their own keychain. Both reach the same record with the same tools.
Can the assistant place an order or accept a quote?
No. It reads your record, uploads revisions and asks for quotes, with your permissions; accepting a quote, releasing a run or approving an invoice is done in the app. A price still comes from an engineer, within 24–48 h; the assistant can ask for it, not invent it.
Can it upload files?
Yes. Hand it a STEP and a 2D PDF and it puts them on the record as a new revision with a request for quote open against it. Give it a folder of parts and a reference, and it requests a quote for the batch with that reference’s material, finish and tolerances copied across.
How do I disconnect it?
Remove the connector in your assistant’s settings, or sign out of the CLI with opergo-mcp logout. Either ends the token; nothing else changes on your account.
