Packaging & private label, defined
Packaging and private label cover everything a product needs to be sold or shipped under your brand: the box or bag it ships in, the insert that holds it, the label or artwork outside and the instructions inside — specified with the part, not sourced once the product already exists.

Questions
Questions about packaging
What’s included in private-label packaging — just a branded box?
No — box, insert, label and instructions are specified together, against the actual product, not sourced as separate line items. You get the part packed as one sellable unit, not a part and a stack of packaging components to assemble yourself.
Can you print my artwork on the box or bag?
Yes — boxes and bags carry your branding and artwork, not a generic package. Color, artwork and copy are specified and proofed against the actual product at quoting.
Can each variant carry its own reference label?
Yes. A bag and a scannable reference label per variant is part of the packaging — and often all a B2B part needs.
Can the manual come in several languages?
Yes — instruction manuals are produced alongside the product, in the languages and format each market needs, so the manual in the box matches what is inside it.
What’s the difference between packaging and kitting?
Packaging protects and brands a single part — the box, bag, insert and label around it. Kitting goes a step further for multi-part products: the pieces are built, tested and packed together as one sellable unit, not shipped loose for someone else to assemble.
Is there a minimum quantity for private-label packaging?
You don’t need a production run to start: we work from one part to production runs, and the more you order, the lower the cost per part of printed boxes and manuals. We size the packaging to your actual order when we quote.
Can packaging go in the same order as the part and its finishing?
Yes. Finishing, assembly and packaging are quoted and produced under the same order as the part.
Can packaging be added later, after the part is already in production?
It can, but it’s cheaper and faster specified upfront — fit, artwork and labeling get planned into the part’s schedule from the start instead of becoming a second project once the part already exists.
What if I only need a label, not full retail packaging?
That’s fine — packaging scales down as well as up. Tell us what the product actually needs when you quote, from a simple label to a fully branded retail box.
What do I send, and how long does the quote take?
Your 3D model (STEP) and the 2D PDF drawing, plus your artwork and the box and label you want. You get a price per part in 24–48 hours.
