Laser cutting
Laser-cut parts, from one piece to production.
- Metal on the fiber laser, acrylic on the CO2
- Parts nested on the sheet
- A STEP file and a 2D PDF are enough
- A price per part, in 24–48 hours

Fiber laser · stainlessCut in the material you need.
Fiber laserSteel
DC01, S275JR, galvanized, CORTEN · 0.8–10 mm
Plates, gussets and brackets cut straight from the drawing — and every blank a bent part starts from.
Fiber laserStainless
304, 316L, 430 · 0.8–6 mm
Clean, burr-free edges on parts that stay on show — like a brake rotor cut in one pass.
Fiber laserAluminum
1050, 5052, 5754, 6061-T6 · 1–6 mm
Vents, slots and mounting holes in one cut. A flat part can run in 6061-T6, since nothing has to bend.
CO2 laserAcrylic & plastics
Cast acrylic, PETG and more
A CO2 laser leaves acrylic with a polished, flame-clear edge — no sanding after the cut.
One drawing
Use one file for metal or plastic.
We cut this sign from one file in brushed stainless on the fiber laser and in black plastic on the CO2. Ask for a quote on both and choose.
Everything the cut needs.
We nest your parts on the sheet and flag any problem before cutting.
Laser cutting, defined
Laser cutting cuts a flat part straight from a 2D drawing with a focused beam — a fiber laser for metal, a CO2 laser for acrylic and plastics — with no tooling and no minimum run. It also cuts the blank for every part that is bent afterwards.

What to send
What you send, and what you get back.
The 3D model and the PDF drawing are enough.
Your 3D model (STEP) and the 2D PDF drawing
The model gives the geometry; the drawing carries what the model cannot say: tolerances, bends, surface finish. Material, thickness, quantity and finish are chosen when you upload the part.
A price per part, in 24–48 hours
With the unit price and the lead time of every part, bending and finishing included.
If it can’t be cut as drawn, the change it needs
We tell you before anything is cut, and requote it.
Questions
Questions about laser cutting
Which file do I send?
Your 3D model as a STEP file and a 2D PDF drawing. The model gives the geometry; the drawing carries what the model cannot say: tolerances, bends, surface finish. Every CAD package exports STEP; that pair is what we price from. Material, thickness and quantity are chosen when you upload the part.
How much does a laser-cut part cost?
It depends on the material and its thickness, the beam time the outline needs (length of cut, number of holes) and the quantity. Parts nested on the same sheet share the material and the setup, so the unit price drops as the quantity grows. Upload the file and you get a price for every part, with its lead time, in 24–48 hours.
What’s the minimum order quantity?
One. There is no fixed minimum: price is what naturally limits a very small order, not a policy. A single flat bracket gets a price per part the same way a run does.
How long does the quote take?
Most quotes come back within 24–48 hours, with the unit price and the lead time for every part.
Can you bend and finish the parts in the same order?
Yes. A part that stays flat needs only the laser cut; if it has to fold, we bend it on a press brake from the same blank, and finishing, assembly and packaging go in the same order, with no second supplier to coordinate.
Which materials and thicknesses can you laser cut?
On the fiber laser: steel up to about 10 mm, stainless and aluminum up to 6 mm, and copper, brass and titanium up to 3 mm. On the CO2 laser: cast acrylic and other sheet plastics, with a flame-polished edge. Past those thicknesses, we move the part to waterjet.
Laser cutting or waterjet?
Laser is faster up to about 10 mm. Thicker, heat-sensitive or very reflective, waterjet cuts it cold, up to 40–50 mm depending on material. We choose the process with your drawing in front of us and tell you at quoting; if the part needs bending or a machined feature instead, we say that too.
What tolerance does a laser-cut part hold?
A flat part holds a tighter tolerance than a bent one, because no bending step adds its own error. The typical value is in the spec sheet on this page; if a dimension needs more, mark it on the 2D drawing and we tell you before cutting whether it holds.
Is my file confidential?
Yes. A mutual NDA is signed before you upload anything, and asking for a quote commits you to nothing.
Can you laser cut tube and profiles too?
Yes, on a rotary tube laser that cuts length, holes, copes and slots in one program — see Tube Laser Cutting under capabilities; this page covers flat sheet.
