Where this policy applies
The three hosts below belong to the same company, OPER FACTORY EUROPE, S.L., and share one cookie question. The bar that asks it tells you so, and an answer given on any of them holds on all of them. Withdrawing it on any of them withdraws it everywhere.
| Host | What it is | Google Analytics | Ad measurement | Microsoft Clarity |
|---|---|---|---|---|
opergo.com | This website | With your consent | With your consent | Not used |
quote.opergo.com | The quotation application | With your consent | With your consent | With your separate consent |
app.opergo.com | The customer application | With your consent | Not used | With your separate consent |
Analytics, on all three hosts
With your consent, each host loads Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager to count which pages and screens get used and which links and buttons get pressed. Until you answer, nothing from Google is loaded and no request leaves your browser for any Google host. Refusing, or not answering, means exactly that.
If you accept, Google sets these two cookies on opergo.com. Our own subdomains can read them; no one else can.
| Cookie | What it does | Lasts |
|---|---|---|
_ga | Tells one browser apart from another, so that ten pages read by one person count as one visitor. | 2 years |
_ga_FRJBPDF23T | Keeps the state of the current visit for our Google Analytics property, so a session has a beginning and an end. | 2 years |
The measurement is configured to do as little as the tool allows. Google Signals is switched off, so nothing is joined to a Google account or followed across devices. No advertising features are enabled and no Google Ads account is linked to it, so these statistics feed no advertisement anywhere. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. What it keeps about a visit is deleted after fourteen months. We share none of it with Google for its own purposes, and we build no profile of you from it. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, acting on our instructions; data may be processed in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Ad measurement, on this website and in the quotation application
We advertise on Google Search. When someone clicks one of our ads, Google adds an identifier of that click to the address of the page they land on. With your consent to ad measurement, that identifier goes with you when you follow a link to our quotation application, and if you then create a quote request, the application keeps it with the request, together with the date and time and the state of your consent, and later reports to Google Ads that the click led to a request. The quotation application asks this question only when you arrive there from an ad. That is how we learn which ads and search terms bring real requests and which only cost money.
It sets no cookie and loads nothing in your browser: there is no Google Ads tag, no tracking pixel and no conversion linker on any of our pages, and the report is sent from our servers to Google's. It is not remarketing, it builds no audience, and it does not personalise the ads you see anywhere. Without your consent, the identifier stays behind: the link carries only the name of the page and of the campaign, which are the same for everyone, and nothing is reported. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, which provides Google Ads; data may be processed in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Session recording, in the applications only
The quotation and customer applications ask you a second, separate question before they load Microsoft Clarity. Saying yes to analytics is not saying yes to this: it is a different tool with a different purpose, and this website neither runs it nor asks about it.
With that consent, Clarity records how the application's screens are used: where you click, how far you scroll, and the layout of what you see, so that we can find the steps where people get stuck. Every text, number, input and file name is masked in your browser before anything is sent, so a recording shows where you clicked, not what you wrote or which parts you are quoting. If you accept, Clarity sets these two cookies on the application's host, and its own hosts (clarity.ms and bing.com) may set a handful of their own for the same visit, none of which carries your name.
When you are signed in, a recording is tagged with your account's internal identifier, which Clarity scrambles in your browser before sending it. It is never your name, your email or your username. It lets us find the recording of a session when you tell us something went wrong.
| Cookie | What it does | Lasts |
|---|---|---|
_clck | Tells one browser apart from another for Microsoft Clarity, and remembers its settings. | 1 year |
_clsk | Joins the screens of one visit into one recording. | 1 day |
The provider is Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, acting on our instructions. Recordings are kept for thirty days and aggregated heat maps for up to thirteen months. Data may be processed in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. It is used to improve the applications and for nothing else: no advertising, no profiling, no sharing.
What we store without asking, and why we may
Three entries exist only to make something you asked for behave correctly, which is the exemption article 22.2 of Act 34/2002 provides for. None holds an identifier and none can recognise you or your device. Signing in to the applications also necessarily keeps a session on your device, which is what being signed in means; the applications describe it in their own terms.
| Entry | What it does | Lasts |
|---|---|---|
opergo_consentcookie on .opergo.com | Your answers to the questions on this page, one per purpose, each with its date. Read by the three hosts above so that one answer holds everywhere and none of them asks twice. It is sent with requests to our own subdomains, our API included, and to no one else. | 24 months from each answer, then we ask again |
opergo_langcookie on .opergo.com, and local storage on this website | The language we are reading you the site in. The cookie carries it to the applications, so that Get a quote opens the quotation application in the language you were reading, before you have an account for it to be saved on, and so it is still there if you make one. It is sent with requests to our own subdomains and to no one else. On this website it also records the language you chose in the language bar or the footer, so we stop offering the other one. | 12 months for the cookie; the choice you made here, until you clear site data |
scroll-positionssession storage, this website only | How far down each page you had scrolled, so that going back returns you where you were. | Until you close the tab |
The first of these deserves a word. The record of your answers is what lets a refusal stick: without it we would have to ask again on every page and on every host, which is the one thing worse than asking once. It holds a yes or a no per purpose and the date of each, nothing more.
How the question is asked
The bar at the bottom of the screen offers Reject and Accept as two buttons of the same size, the same weight and the same colour, one click each, and says which hosts your answer applies to. Scrolling, reading on or closing the tab is not a yes: until you press Accept, nothing is loaded or reported. Accept says yes to analytics and ad measurement, Reject says no to both, and Choose opens a second layer with one box for each, both unticked until you tick them. The applications ask about session recording in the same way, separately, and only if you have not answered it before; a question you have not answered counts as a no.
You can change your mind at any time, from any host. The Cookie settings link in the footer of every page here, and its counterpart in the applications, deletes the record of your answers, which brings the bar back and stops analytics, ad measurement and recording from that moment on everywhere. Cookies Google or Microsoft set earlier stay in your browser until they expire or you remove them, as described below, but nothing reads them once consent is withdrawn. A request already reported to Google Ads before you withdrew stays reported; to have it removed, write to us.
How to remove all of it
Use your browser's option to clear site data or browsing data for opergo.com and its subdomains. That removes the Google and Microsoft cookies and the entries above in one go. Blocking site data for these hosts entirely also works: the site keeps functioning, the cookie bar simply cannot remember your answer and asks again, back and forward return you to the top of the page, and the applications cannot keep you signed in.
If this changes
If we add anything to this list, whether another tool, another purpose, another host or another cookie, we will ask for your consent before it loads, give you a way to refuse and to change your mind later, and update this page and the date at the top of it. We will not switch anything on quietly.
Questions about any of this go to contact@operfactory.com. For personal data more broadly, see our privacy policy.
